The residents of West Bengal have created a new history. These people crossed the world's longest natural beach on foot in four days. This beach falls in Cox's Bazar district of Bangladesh. The beach starts from Teknaf Saharpari and ends at Nazir Tek.
As the first Indian or foreigner to complete this entire beach, the joint Indo-Bangla friendship expedition of seven members of Howrah Adventure Sports Association, Bangladesh's "Beach Hiking" organization successfully ended on the 20th of February.
They said, "we carried out this campaign with the permission and cooperation of the District Commissioner of Cox's Bazar. Our main objective of this campaign was to promote pollution-free beaches."
